Dr. Escobar teaches in the Biology Department at Emory University in Atlanta. He earned his B.S. in genetics at University of California – Davis and his Ph.D. in biochemistry at University of California – Santa Cruz. His current research on visual awareness focuses on the neural structures that underlie our visual experience. His hope for students is that they can actually be
