Alexander Escobar

Dr. Escobar teaches in the Biology Department at Emory University in Atlanta. He earned his B.S. in genetics at University of California – Davis and his Ph.D. in biochemistry at University of California – Santa Cruz. His current research on visual awareness focuses on the neural structures that underlie our visual experience.  His hope for students is that they can actually be involved in some primary research while they are learning about neurobiology.
